  My parents have been good customers of Colangelo U Vint Wine for about 10 years. We have all enjoyed the wine for many years. They have had both red and white made for them, both bottles and bags. They never had a complaint. in fact, my parents have actually recommended this business to many of their friends over the years. Until now. I just received a text from my Mother telling me that my parents are now BANNED from this store. I laughed and thought she meant they will be boycotting them, but she corrected me, they were actually banned. Their last batch of wine was "off". The red was perfect but the white German wine, that they have ordered many times, looked off. The colour was not the normal light clear colour it normally is, but looked like apple juice. The smell and taste was off too. They decided to take it back to the store to see what could be done. The owner checked the order to see if sugar levels were right in the computer. The wine was not checked. He either did not believe My Dad that the wine was off, or was too arrogant to think that he could have made a bad product, or admit that the wrong recipe was made. My Dad was even fine if they made the wrong wine, it is just not what he ordered. The owner's response was that he could give them his money back but he is now banned from the store and cannot come back. Really??? BANNED???? An error was made, whether they made the wrong wine, or the wine was bad, and your immediate response is to BAN your paying customer, who, I may add was going to give you MORE money today and order MORE wine, and who had brought a friend to do the same thing! My Dad was not rude. He simply wanted the product that he paid for. In return, he was BANNED. Completely unprofessional, unacceptable, and lacking class. I encourage everyone to share this post. There are many places to have wine made. Perhaps returning customers of this store should start to look elsewhere, before they too find themselves BANNED for wanting a product that they paid for. And if this posts gets deleted, it is ok, because I hope to circulate this message elsewhere.

  My wife and I have been going to Colangelo's to make our wine for almost 10 years now. They are very helpful and friendly and their wine selection is tremendous. The bottling stations are very clean and atmosphere in the store is very pleasant. I definitely recommend Colangelo's for all your wine making.
